Treatment: The experiment was set up with three treatments, namely CK (inorganic compound fertilizer 1 kg/plant), HA1 (0.8 kg/plant), and HA2 (1 kg/plant). Humic acid fertilization was carried out simultaneously with conventional fertilization, and other operations followed standard procedures.

Results: Compared with the control, humic acid can alleviate postharvest peel oxidation of pomegranate fruits and extend shelf life by enhancing superoxide dismutase activity and inhibiting the production of superoxide anions.
